Around Town: Lush Life LES
Lush Life invigorated the Lower East Side art scene last night. During the steamy summer months there is a misconception that the art scene stages a mass exodus to the beach. And even though Lush Life overlapped with the opening of Art Hamptons, galleries were packed and audiences were spilling of into the streets and huddling into Lorely’s to grab a quick beer before heading to the after party.
Some notable figures I ran into last night include: Greater New York at PS1 artistConrad Ventur, Jonathan Van Dyke of Scaramouche gallery, and Gawker Artist Nic Radhanging out with ArtLog founder Manish Vora.
